For many people, the only real chance they will have in life is to develop their own skills and set up their own small business. A vital part of the work of SFFL is the running of a number of Micro Credit Banks to make small loans to such people to get them started. This has been outstandingly successful with, to date, some 11,000 small loans already granted.  

But many of these people need something more than just a loan. To that end, STEP has devised and established a Basic Business Training Course at all the Training Centres for all applicants for SFFL small loans.
